Entrepreneurship....it is more than a difficult word at a spelling bee. It is a term that speaks of the innovation and dedication that leads to new startups. All businesses start our small based on the dreams of the entrepreneur. From there it grows with their hard work and ability to adapt, eventually transforming into something new and - hopefully - successful. There are many mistakes that they are forced to learn from, and trial and error is just a regular part of their daily business.

But just because you have to learn from your mistakes doesn't mean you can't get some help to keep from making the big ones. Whether you want a list of guidelines of where to get started with your own startup, or you are just hoping for some tips and tricks to help you along the way, there are quite a few blogs that can help you.

Check out this list of the ten absolute best startup blogs on the web for wannabe entrepreneurs.

1. Paul Graham

This isn't a blog so much as an advice article site with various posts written about starting your own business opportunity. Paul Graham has a lot of weight behind his words as he is an extremely successful entrepreneur himself. You probably best know him at the founder of Y Combinator, the most influential startup aid on the net. They provide seed money, advice and instruction for those a certain number of beginning online businesses every year. But he is also the founder of Viaweb and Hacker News. His is definitely the number one site I would recommend anyone who is even hoping to begin a startup, much less take it to the next level.

Some especially good reads are Startups In 13 Sentences, Organic Startup Ideasand Founder Control.

2. Mixergy

Jimmy Wales, Paul Graham, Timothy Ferris...these are names that every online entrepreneur knows and envies. What do they have in common? They are all regular features on the brilliant Mixergy, a blog created by the also highly successful Andrew Warner. His method of teaching about startups is to ask the masters about their beginning steps and early days to get a clear picture of what everyone can do to have the same (or at least some) success. Based on the principle of learning by listening, it is a great way to get into the right mindset and known where to best start things off yourself. These are definitely must-read interviews for anyone who is hoping to make it someday. The other articles are also very interesting and informative, including one of the main features up right now titled The Fail Series.

3. Onstartups

Hubspot and Pyramid Digital Solutions founder Dharmesh Shah started his blog to help teach the basics of startups to the uninitiated. Anyone who is just beginning on the road to entrepreneurship will be well advised to check out his site and take heed of his very practical and useful advice. He offers posts on where to begin, how to raise capital, dos and don'ts and presentation. His essays can lead you straight through every step. He also provides resources, links to other useful blogs and tools.

4. Steve Blank

Steve Blank is an interesting man. He started out as a entrepreneur who managed to put his hand in a little bit of everything. After great success he took a position as a professor at U.C. Berkeley and Stanford University, two amazing schools where students have been able to greatly benefit from his knowledge on entrepreneurship and startups. Now he has taken to blogging to give the same lessons to those who would seek them out. What I like about his site is that it offers tips on topics that I have never seen anywhere else. He isn't just concerned with the general bones of business, but rather ads some flair and spice.

Check out one of his newer posts Why Board Meetings Suck for some awesome information on how to reinvent the common - and snooze-worthy - board meeting into a more productive and interesting affair.

5. Both Sides of the Table

If you want to know how to raise a good amount of venture capital, Mark Suster is your man, without a doubt. Experienced in both lower and higher levels of business, this VC began with his own startup and became one of the big named in entrepreneurship. His blog itself is very basic but he does a great job of offering highly in-depth posts while keeping up with current events to put business against real-life changes in the markets. Very useful and extremely interesting.

6. Marc Andreessen

The blog of Marc Andreessen, the founder of Netscape and Opsware. He is now a VC (Andreessen Horowitz) and his blog offers some of the best startup advice you can find online.

7. Chris Dixon

Chris Dixon is the co-founder of Hunch, which is rather interesting as he also has a superpower: the ability to take a hunch and profit enormously. He definitely has an eye for successful startups, and he was one of the first investors behind various massive online companies that became every day additions to the average user's life. His list of investments include Skype, Foursquare and Invite Media, to name a few. Is it any wonder that his site is especially good for advice related to knowing which ones to pick? He is also providing valuable insight into startups and how you can personally expand your probability of high profits.

8. A VC

Fred Wilson isn't much of a writer but he is a financial guru worth listening to. Affiliated with Union Square Ventures, he is the go-to guy when it comes to raising venture capital and how to finance your startup. He offers great resources, easy to understand advice and plenty of tips and tricks of the trade. This is definitely a place for those just beginning to put on their reading list.

9. Startup Lessons Learned

Eric Ries is a well known entrepreneur and the founder of the Lean Startup Methodology. Some really good posts there. It is a customer-oriented approach to startups the utilize free and open source software and agile software development to build a business plan. He provides conferences all over the world that are run on a local basis in each city. But these fill up fast and so it is useful to check out his blog instead, where he frequently examines current market trends, gives advice and better explains his philosophy and how it can be used by the modern entrepreneur.

10. A Smart Bear

Smart Bear Software's founder Jason Cohen has a great, easy-to-understand and friendly blog where he posts business advice for the new initiate into the entrepreneurship world. Cartoons, interesting facts and positive reinforcement are the common trends here, and so it is as much a feel-good blog as it is a place for tips. Very enjoyable to read, and definitely one of the more informative startup blogs on the web. Add in the fact that Cohen is a rather likeable person and you have the makings for a great site.

Jessy is a web entrepreneur and stay-at-home mom who blogs for Home Loan Finder, the free Australia-based money saving tool.

Today is a guest blog post from someone who I met at my favorite conversational networking location, Blitztime. Louise DiSclafani, spotlights how, in today's economic times, your credit score controls every aspect of your life. Whether your an introvert or extrovert, financial freedom is important to all of us. This is one aspect to getting there.

You’ve heard there are many ways to improve your credit history. Well, here is one strategy to help in a speedier repair process. It’s known as the re-aging of debt and it is a violation of your rights, as stated in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

One common issue clients raise is why they have duplicates on their report. They have looked carefully, checked and re-checked and can see amounts that were identical but the dates didn't match.

It is these discrepancies that could be re-aging violations sitting on your report and lowering your credit score. Now, re-aging can be intentional (willful) and it can be unintentional (negligent). The bottom line is that IF it does happen, it doesn’t really matter WHY it happened; it can still cause a collection to remain on a credit file longer than allowed by federal law.

Here’s how it works. When you fall behind on an account, it’s considered bad 30 days after the missed payment. That's the date it should be reported as negative. That date is also the marker for the statute of limitations. The original creditor attempts to collect on this debt. If no results, then they hire a collection company to take over the job. The collection company usually puts a new date on the debt – the date they got the file. However, they are legally bound to honor the 2, 3 or 6 months that the original creditor attempted to collect on the debt. If they start the clock any time after the original date, which extends the statute of limitations, that is a violation of your rights and you have a candidate for removal!!

Not rocket science here, it's simply having some understanding of how this law works.

You are improving your credit history by disputing under the grounds that the company is violating your rights and you can demand that they remove this re-aging violation, and don’t just let them correct the violation.

Credit repair techniques do change, just as other regulations change. Using the most current techniques will increase the success of your disputes.

Learn more about the secrets the credit bureaus don’t want you to know. If you have seen this discrepancy in your credit reports and you are ready to start a sure fire track to raising your credit score, follow this link to a brief introductory video, http://tinyurl.com/improvescore, Get Your Credit Score Builder - A Quick Start Guide, and start regaining your financial freedom.

My husband and I are vigilant about keeping our credit score darn near perfect. What we found out is that as long as we have one payment still due, it will never reach more than 799. That really annoys my husband!

Does your credit score need repair? Or is it, darn near perfect?

The business world is crowded. Not only are we competing for attention from competitors, but our prospects lives in general are just so much busier. You and your business can easily slip under the radar screen from your prospects from one day to another. So what do you do when you know that they just don’t wake up in the morning thinking about you?

It's that time of the year for planning for a New Year in life and business. In my mind are echoes from a mentor early on in my corporate training career. I asked him, what are the three most important things to do to attract business? Without hesitation he stated, visibility, visibility and visibility.

Then I couldn’t help myself. Do you know how you download both free and fee audios and eBooks – all year long ? I went to my Chef’s Table for Entrepreneurs Telesummit speakers for the skinny on how to get that visibility, visibility, visibility. For me to take on my new year planning challenge, I needed to distill their wisdom so I can put it into action. Jon Hansen, Sally Shields and L. Drew Gerber shared sooo much valuable information last fall, I just had to go to them again to help me get clearer in my planning.

1. Here’s what I remembered was most striking in what Jon said in an almost non-stop brain dump: to build a sustainable brand your plan doesn’t have to be elaborate. That from someone who went from no where to everywhere in just 3 short years with using key online social media venues. The best thing – almost everything is available to anyone at low to no cost. Blogging, Blogtalkradio and Being in community – all with providing value - are at the top of this list.

2. Sally held nothing back. She gave top tips about how to use a current event to tie in your press release to, as she said, “have the media clamoring to interview you!” Example after example of how to easily and practically write yours, every idea could lead to a press release. A fun way to build sustainability too.

3. And thank you Drew. I most remember his sense of humor about – cocktails! Specifically, a creative circle cocktail hour. It’s around those cocktails that you can converse for clarity about you and your unique distinctiveness. I’m just glad, since I’m not a big drinker, he said it could also be a creative circle food hour. This discussion turned out to be a perfect beginning to his walking us step-by-step to the PR process.

Wow. So many creative and enjoyable ways to get on a person’s radar screen! Not as different as I thought either. Just an easier way to think about that online presence for visibility.

Still not sure where to go for publicity? You now have three people who you can put on your own radar screen – before it becomes too crowded for you.

PS – PR is one of the key factors in my business plan. How about you?

Last year my blog was nominated for Best Coaching Blog of 2009 at the School of Coaching Mastery. My son, computer security consultant for the "big guys" pointed out at last 3 ways people were cheating there. I pulled myself out of the contest when I saw the shenanigans. Shame on those people.

This year I am assured things are working securely. Until I hear otherwise about the contest's integrity, here's are some ways you can help introverts be known for the intelligent, thoughtful and good-friend people we are because --- 2010 is your year.

Introvert-itude©: Being secure in who you are, self-confidence, can come as easily to introverts as extroverts.

1. Would you go to http://www.schoolofcoachingmastery.com/best-coaching-blogs-2010/ Hopefully, you'll see my blog still at the top, Business Sales Coach for Introverts and Shy - Business and Life Tips for Introverts and Shy, by Patricia Weber. Would you give it a THUMBS UP?

2. If you are a follower of my blog or know me personally, would you leave a positive comment in the comments section? Those count for extra points. The comments round runs through June 7th.

Next is the competition round from June 8th to June 14th. This is the chance for a blog to make it into the semi-finals.

3. Do you have a blog? Because if you have interest, we could collaborate on a mutual blog post or interview. Can you leave me a comment below if this is the way you want to go?

Once the semi-finals starts, popular voting will be just for fun.

Okay; it's just a contest. JUST a contest. But what if, just what if, we as introverts can raise our heads high as we raise our profile - we can make 2010 our year.

Won't you help?

My first Top Ten FollowFriday recommendations were on a Monday no less. But you can see other Top Tens of Twitter and other social networking if you select my blog category of Top Ten category. NOTE: These are no longer in alphabetical order. This week, there are more unique recommendations. If you are interested in relationship building this is hopefully more satisfying than catching a stream of tweets:

1. Jonathan http://twitter.com/sharpendtrain is from Sheffield, England. I like that he is a straightshooter talker! And since we have actually had a real face-to-face, via Skype, I can say he tells the truth.
2. Terilyn J Goins <a href="http://twitter.com/theworddr"target="blank">http://twitter.com/theworddr is someone my husband introduced me to through his local networking! We've hit things off to a wonderfully growing collaborative relationship. She's an introvert like me!
3. Louise DiSclafani http://twitter.com/louise_di is someone I met on speed networking on the telephone, networking website, BlitzTime.

Personally, as an introvert, I tried my best for the Twitter Follow Friday. It got both exhausting and lackluster. My first Top Ten FollowFriday recommendations were on a Monday no less. My second post got me back to the right day of the week! If you missed either of the line up of wonderful people who offer inspiration, laughs, intelligent conversation, fun, more fulfillment to your life, then make sure you read about them and connect with who you like. NOTE: These are no longer in alphabetical order. This week, there are more unique recommendations:

My first Top Ten FollowFriday recommendations were on a Monday. If you missed that line up of wonderful people who offer inspiration, laughs, intelligent conversation, fun, more fulfillment to your life, then make sure you read that post and connect with who you like. This week, there are more recommendations who also are in a league of their own:

1. Ali R. Rodriguez is the Passionista Expert at http://twitter.com/Ali4Coach Years ago when I met her on a teleclass, I was impressed with her intuitively knowing that - I often wear a red clown nose!
2. Andrea Satter http://twitter.com/AndreaSatter. I met Andrea on the virtual speed networking website, BlitzTime and was immediately impressed with her networking other-focus. The kind that makes an introvert happy.
3. Bonnie Gortler http://twitter.com/Optiongirl As one of my online speed networking friends, we discovered a good deal about each other on the telephone. 7. Kerul Kassel; great admiration for this lady with a big heart and likely even a bigger back yard with her love of horses. She hangs out at LinkedIn. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/kerul-kassel/0/301/175 If you need to get over procrastination, she's the one to help you.
8. Margie Basaraba http://twitter.com/basarabadd/ Margie is a friend, a client and a consummate networker. If you want to save on travel of any kind, talk with her.
9. Mari-Lyn Harris multi-talented, often called a serial entrepreneur. She tweets social media ideas at http://twitter.com/heartatwork and in the kitchen at Twitter, http://www.twitter.com/sedonapies she cooks up pies.
10. Rocky Romero another LinkedIn recommendation - http://www.linkedin.com/in/rockyromero Rocky is having great success with 100 Day Challenges on BlitzTime, a community of achievers interested in unreasonable outcomes and goals in the next 100 days.

Collaborating is important today, this decade. That's one way I look at Twitter's Follow Friday. Recommendations come about in a collaborative manner. If there is some kind of conversation going on between the parties, people or companies involved on Twitter you are likely to find a mutual FollowFriday tweet. As an introvert, contrary to the erroneous definitions and negative myths, collaboration is highly desirable because it usually means just a small and intimate groups. Here are my first Top Ten Follow Friday Recommendations, albeit, on a Monday.

Any one of my recommendations will provide you inspiration, laughs, intelligent conversation, fun, and they will add more fulfillment to your life.

1. A. Michelle Blakeley tweets at http://twitter.com/simplicityinc She is a go-getter with a collaborative style. Easy to connect with. She talks with integrity.
2. Barbara Duke http://twitter.com/BarbaraDuke An inspiration for many reasons including being a breast cancer survivor. Prolific tweeter.
3. Bonnie Dubrow http://twitter.com/BonnieDubrow An extreme extrovert who will energize you not exhaust you. An ideas person.
4. Cathy Demers http://twitter.com/cathydemers She's from Vancouver. She asks questions that make you think and then - act. Award winning entrepreneur.
5. Dale Little http://twitter.com/DaleLittle We actually just met through an entrepreneurial website. She is the real deal.
6. Jim Blasingamehttp://twitter.com/jimblasingame Jim and I go back - way back to 1996. He is the Small Business Advocate and he and I have great times on his radio show. Must subscribe to his tweets.
7. Jim Sutton http://twitter.com/JimSutton5 If you need a laugh at any time of day, one of Jim's pun's will do it for you. Connect with him, then his blog and welcome the smiles.
8. Monique MacKinnon http://twitter.com/hand_analyst Monique is one of my Joint Venture partners. Sometimes we laugh at our communications - "like an old married couple" she says. She'll tell you, it's all in the hands.
9. Sharon McLaughlin http://twitter.com/shashmc We met on Twitter, then moved over to BlitzTime. She often makes being on Twitter worthwhile because she lets me know someone is listening.
10. Tony Mack http://twitter.com/TonyMackGD He'll have you understand the Go-Giver person on your first conversation.

That's it for last week - yes; last week. And this week, aiming for Friday to be another Top Ten FollowFriday Twitter Recommendations.

Who are yours? Can you talk about them on a blog post?

Thank you to Ellen Brown for believing in and nominating my blog for the "Kreativ Blogger Award". Ellen H. Brown, is the founder of Wellness Journeys http://www.wellnessjourneys.com. She helps clients create healthy, balanced, and peaceful lives as a coach.

When I got Ellen's email I was winding down a two-week visit with my mom and starting to think about the trip to Kentucky for one of my husband and my last Concours d'Elegance this year. So before we leave, in completing the responsibility that goes along with this nomination, I'm fulfilling this obligation with such recognition:

• Thank the person who has given you the award - Ellen, you hopefully received my email and my post at your blog with my appreciation for such recognition;
• Copy the logo and place it on your blog - It's here just below and a bit to the right;
• Link to the person who has nominated you for the award - that's Ellen Brown, The Wellness Coach;
• Name 7 things about yourself that people might find interesting - as an introvert, I always cringe with such self-disclosure so if you know these things about me already, I think you will agree they are somewhat interesting:

1 - In the late 1990s I owned and drove a Harley-Davidson motorcycle;
2 - My first career out of college was an elementary school teacher;
3 - It's mainly because of my extrovert husband, who I regularly thank, for so many life adventures like boating, flying airplanes, traveling the world, our car hobby and much more;
4 - My family all still live on Long Island NY where I was born and raised. I'm the only one who moved and maybe that's a big reason my family is so important;
5 - Waaay back (too far too say) my husband, son and I lived for 2 years in Turkey, Incirlik CDI, while my husband was in the Air Force;
6 - Finally figured out my obsession with and why I have so many pairs of shoes;
7 - One of my favorite things to do is have intimate dinner parties with small groups of people, no more than 6 and the two of us, in our beautiful home.

• Nominate 7 other "Kreativ Bloggers”, and post links to their blogs - Here are my nominees:

1. Jim Sutton, http://www.jimsutton.naiwe.com/ - I met Jim on a Blitztime networking call at the end of February. Becoming friends quickly for me is odd unless you meet someone as positively engaging as Jim. We now collaborate and talk about twice a month. Jim is a consummate networker at LinkedIn and readily shares his findings on his blog.

2. Kim Murphy, http://kmacopy.wordpress.com/ - Kim and I were having a fine time tweeting back and forth with words we were making up. We had so much fun we decided blogging about it. We've talked on the telephone and hope to figure a way to connect further. Kim is a marketing copywriter.

3. Bonnie Dubrow, http://www.marketingtoyourworld.com/main/blog/ - Thanks again to Blitztime, I got to meet and further get to know this energizing extrovert who calls herself, Energizer Bonnie. She and I am Jim collaborate together and with her expertise on marketing her blog is cutting-edge information.

4. Gail Foley, http://www.heycardlady.blogspot.com/ Gail is one of about six SendOutCard entrepreneurs who back in 2006 I met on an online networking website. She was the only one of the six who walked her talk about the cards. I signed on with her as an entrepreneur and we've been friends since then. She's as extroverted as I am introverted and her blog is a wonderful testimony to building relationships.

5. Lee Ann Lambert, http://livingintroverted.com/ - It was a joy to meet Lee Ann. Her posts will ring true for any introvert and as she proclaims herself an "introvert activist", she is an inspiration to any introvert.

6. Judie Elise, http://uniquefamilylife.blogspot.com/ - Judie and I met on the Twitter introvert group. We clicked immediately. I think it was more because we are both from New York than that we are both introverts! This lady is amazing and so is her blog about living as a family of invisible illnesses and disabilities. With seriousness but fun she's an inspiration to all unique families.

7. Barbara Lopez, http://brightfarm.typepad.com/ - What a niche! She's the Elevator Pitch Coach who I met through networking with someone else. That someone else introduced us and wow! Barbara and I are on the same age with boring, self-centered, ho-hum-make-me-yawn introductions that it was just meant to be a connection. Hurry over there now and find all the ways she can turn your spiel into interesting, other-focused and "Wow! How do you do that?" responses.

• Send the nominees a message to let them know they have been nominated - and as I complete this post I will be doing just that!

There. I'm complete I believe.

And again I am most grateful for Ellen's nomination of "Kreativ Blogger Award". And just as I hope readers of her blog find mine to be worthwhile, I hope you will also enjoy the information of the bloggers blogs who I recommend. Just MAKE time, SCHEDULE it if necessary, to visit each one and read about and learn from these various masters of their trade.

Do you have a blog that you want to mention? A blog you've been inspired with? Made a friend with the blogger? Or for some reason want to recommend a blog? Will you post it here?
